Making Your Resume As Strong As Possible
Successfully getting a job as an attorney (associate or partner) at a law firm is never easy because there are a number of people for most every attorney job out there.
Resumes are important because they can be the sole reason you make it to an interview or get a rejection letter. One of the best ways to make your resume stronger is to make sure it includes specific and measurable accomplishments. Have you helped your firm make money, reduce costs, attract new clients or done other things that have benefited the firm. Give this some thought and include these items on your resume. The best place to put them is in the bullet points under each specific job you have had. Use measurable results to illustrate your accomplishments.
